Background
Refurbishment to be carried out to entrance lobby and conference room creating a more modern, welcoming environment. Arrangement of lighting to be created for selective inspection of motor bodies coming off the production line, to ensure continuing excellence of manufacture is maintained.
Solution
Who would believe what could be achieved with the humble batten fitting! Dexpax Battens with trough reflectors have been fitted to a steel frame which envelope a car taken from the production line. The arrangement of the fittings shows every minute aspect of the car, giving the quality assurance inspectors a state of the art working environment.
Our Impervia Lux fittings have also been fixed to a steel inspection unit but this time the the frame is mobile. These racks of lighting can be moved around in the component inspection bays, enabling more detailed inspection of smaller components by the quality assurance inspectors.
Neo-Qel 1, which offers an alternative to louvred lighting, was chosen for the conference room. Their all white finish with central perforated steel cradle, lined with opal sheet offer a subtle diffused light which is ideal for areas such as conference rooms. The entrance lobby now hosts our ProTec downlighters. The depth of options available with ProTec makes it a very popular choice for entrance lobbies and communal areas.
